The Cedar is a three-bedroom, two-bath home laid out inside a 50 by 74 foot post-frame shell. The owners wanted the open, industrial character of a barndominium without giving up the comfort of a finished house, so the plan pairs a wide-span great room with a covered porch that runs the length of the front elevation.
Delta Metals supplied the steel siding and roofing. The exterior uses vertical board-and-batten panels in a dark charcoal finish, topped with a matching metal roof in the same tone, both carrying the same 40-year Sherwin-Williams paint warranty we put on every panel.
